Which are the 10 most powerful military powers of the world, check which position India stands!

The great Indian Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw had once asked Indira Gandhi to mind her own business & not get into the internal matters of the Indian army. We’ve heard & read about a myriad of instances when the soldier has always put the country first. The courage of conviction shown by the Indian army is unparalleled. The soldiers have been guarding our borders in extreme temperatures & are always prepared. The most impressive factor that defines the army is ‘responsibility. ‘

The responsibility to guard the borders, responsibility to protect the country from terrorists, responsibility to prevent militants from infiltrating across the border & show them their actual place. In the present context, the question that has been often asked is- how prepared are we?

Do we have the defense preparedness to take on our opponents?  Defense of a country is a comprehensive subject & I’m no war veteran to comment on that. But, as a keen observer I can proudly say that the Narendra Modi Government is working to give the Indian army its due without trying to market themselves above the army, which the Congress led UPA governments always failed to do.

What has changed since 2014? Manohar Parrikar took over as the Defense Minister of India on November 9, 2014. A lot has changed since then. Better facilities for our soldiers, efficient war equipment, the implementation of OROP & most importantly- no scams. There are still a few grievances which have been addressed such as the shortage of bullet proof jackets & so on. However the recent developments include the sanctions of lighter helmets for the soldiers which will help them to move faster in tricky conditions.
